Description:
Picture Re-takes and Group Picture Day will be on Monday, December 6. If your child participates in athletics, academics, or any other school related activity, they may need to have certain related attire with them on this day. Please check with your child?s coach to verify what should be worn during their group picture.
HNS Class of 2022
Traditionally the 8th grade class takes a group ?dress up? photo on group picture day. The dress code for this day is listed below. If you child needs to re-take their school picture, please send an HNS uniform shirt with them to school as students will wear their dress up attire to school. Since sports pictures will also be taken please make sure child brings all extra curricular uniforms with them to school.
8th Grade Group Picture Day Dress Code
Girls:
Dress or skirt? length at bend of knee or longer (front and back), including any slits. If you are unable to accommodate the required length wear black dress pants. If you wear a skirt or dress: NO bare legs and NO transparent tights (tights must be dark in color).
Dress shirt or sweater that covers shoulders.
Practical dress shoes
**No sheer/lace/see-through portions on torso or back
**No jeans, leggings or fitness pants
**No casual footwear (Uggs, Chuck Taylors, Toms, flip flops
Boys:
Blazer, business jacket, sport coat, and tie are optional. Most boys wear khakis with a button down collared shirt or a button down with a sweater over the shirt.
Trousers such as khakis or dress pants (NO jeans or fitness pants)
Practical dress shoes and socks
No casual footwear
