Calendar Event Details:

The City of Henderson is inviting all fifth grade students from across the district to the Henderson Municipal Center to participate in a mock city government exercise led by Mayor Brad Staton. The students will be introduced to their City leaders, learn key terms related to local government, and they’ll even have the chance to elect a “board of commissioners” and discuss a few key community topics. In previous years, we’ve only hosted a few local elementary schools but this year we’d like to open it up for each school to attend.
